On this tour, guests enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime view of world-famous sites and some of the greatest pieces of Renaissance art to be found within the famous Vatican Museums. After meeting their expert guide, they will enjoy the convenience of skipping the lines and have more time to wander through the Gallery of Tapestries and the Gallery of Geographic Maps, marveling at the masterpieces on display. The exploration continues at the unparalleled Sistine Chapel, the site of the Conclave, featuring Michelangelo's legendary frescoes. While gazing up at the breathtaking ceiling, travelers can try to spot all 343 figures believed to be contained within the artwork. After passing through the museums, your tour will end at St. Peter's Square where travelers will have the option to visit the Basilica on their own and at their leisure.

Important information:
- Access to St. Peter's Basilica is possible at the end of the tour and must be done on your own. Please note it is not possible to enter the Basilica on Wednesdays because of the Papal Audience or on religious holidays and during special events.
- Tour does not operate on Sundays and religious holidays, including January 1, 6, February 11, March 19, April 5, May 1, June 29, August 15, November 1, December 8, 25, 26.
- Maximum of 10 participants.
- This tour is offered on a reserved basis prior to departure.
- Travelers must present a valid passport for entry into the Vatican, as no other identification is accepted. The Vatican can deny entry to anyone unable to provide a valid passport.
- Comfortable shoes are recommended.
- Please dress appropriately as travelers in shorts, low-cut clothing or with uncovered shoulders will not be admitted into Vatican museums and churches.
- All items except small handbags or money belts must be deposited at the cloakroom before entering.
- Due to heightened security we do not recommend bringing umbrellas or strollers.
- No photography or filming is allowed in the Sistine Chapel.
- Permission from the museum management is required for drawing or sketching, as well as for using tripods and other professional equipment.
- Works of art may be photographed without flash except in the Sistine Chapel.
- Mobile phone use is not recommended inside the Sistine Chapel.
