On this afternoon walking tour, guests will journey through the charming Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, Paris’s renowned fashion district and hub for exquisite patisseries and chocolateries. Meeting their expert guide at the start, participants will stroll along quaint streets lined with historic buildings, learning about the district’s rich culinary heritage and unique artisanal specialties. Each stop showcases a different French patisserie and chocolate-making masterpiece-from award-winning truffles and pralines to pastries crafted by celebrated bakers. Many of the chefs are celebrated as the “Picasso of chocolate makers,” “a Bocuse of bakery,” or a “magician of the ganache” in gastronomic circles.
