Small Group Tour: Oxford & Traditional Cotswolds Villages Tour
After heading out of London, we will pass through the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and see the countryside that inspired the television shows, Midsummer Murder and Vicar of Dibley. Once in Oxford, with a history dating back more than 1,000 years, you will have time to explore the colleges or museums on your own. In the afternoon the tour will take us through the Cotswolds with villages rich in history and beauty. We will visit Minster Lovell Hall’. This picturesque ruined 15th century manor house sits on the banks of the River Windrush and is a perfect location for a scenic stroll and great photo opportunity, before heading on to the small market town of Burford with its ironstone cottages and charm. Here, you will have time for afternoon tea if you wish. Lastly, we will stop in Bibury to stroll past the famous Arlington Row and the old woollen mill before returning to London.
