Small Group Tour: Luberon Market & Villages Tour
This all-day excursion will introduce participants to the charming village markets that take place throughout each week across Provence. Guests who embark on the tour on a Tuesday will experience the market in the dry-stone village of Gordes. (On other days, the tour guide will organize a photo stop here.) Guests will also explore the colorful village of Roussillon (market on Thursday), enjoy free time on their own in Lourmarin (market on Friday), and visit the cave in Fontaine de Vaucluse. Sunday is market day in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, and participants can stroll along the canals and browse the wares in the local antique shops. On Saturday, only from November to March, a visit to the candied fruit-producing town of Apt will replace the visit to L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Between mid-June and mid-July, the guide will take guests for a photo stop at Sénanque Abbey and its fragrant lavender fields.
