This tour presents a wonderful opportunity to discover the picturesque castles of Loire Valley. Guests will meet their guide and driver at Champs-Elysées and travel to Loire. The tour will begin at the Chateau of Chambord, which blends traditional French medieval forms with classical Renaissance structures. Constructed by the King of France, Francis I, Chambord also has the largest wooded park in Europe that covers over 13,000 acres and hosts exceptional biodiversity within its walls. Later, depending on the time of the year, guests will either enjoy a wine tasting followed by a lunch break, or a leisurely lunch in the village of Amboise. They will then proceed to the royal residence of Chateau Amboise to admire the majestic vistas of the Loire Valley. The tomb of Leonardo Da Vinci is housed in its beautiful Saint Hubert Chapel. The tour will conclude with a visit to the Chateau de Chenonceau that spans the River Cher and represents a mix of unique Gothic and Renaissance architecture styles.
