Small Group Tour: Cooking Lesson Ligurian Fish Specialities with Visit to the Market in La Spezia
During this fun culinary lesson, guests will learn how to prepare a traditional four-course meal celebrating local seafood. In the morning, guests will meet their Liguarian chef at a bustling local market in La Spezia. They will stroll through the market with their chef, as the freshest fish and seafood are selected for class. They will also buy local vegetables like tomatoes, mushrooms, and artichokes. With bagsful of fresh produce, guests will reach the restaurant where their cooking class will be conducted. Their chef will teach them to create delicious dishes like a seafood starter, a fish-based main course, pasta or gnocchi with a traditional pesto sauce, and a delectable dessert. After class, guests will join their chef for lunch, enjoying the meal they helped create, chased by a glass of Cinque Terre DOC white. They will leave the restaurant with printed recipes, and skills to recreate the Ligurian feast for the folks back home.
