Travelers will spend the morning gaining a deeper understanding of Italian culture through its gastronomy. This culinary experience will begin in the heart of the city, with guests meeting an expert chef and setting off to explore the local shops and markets. A small group will ensure an intimate experience while they learn about picking the best of the seasonal ingredients and gain insight into Rome’s culinary traditions. Participants will then head to an apartment near Piazza Farnese with views across the charming city rooftops, or to a house on Isola Tiberina, a tear-shaped island on the Tiber River. Then it’s time to put on aprons and cook traditional Italian dishes under the guidance of their experienced instructor.
