Small Group: Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill Morning Tour with Skip the Line Entrance and Guide
On this tour, guests will dive into the ancient history of Rome as they visit iconic landmarks around the city. The excursion will begin at the Arco di Costantino, where guests will meet their local guide. Thanks to skip-the-line entrance tickets, they bypass the queues and start right away at the impressive Colosseum, believed to be the largest standing amphitheater in the world and the venue of numerous ancient gladiatorial events. The small group size makes for an intimate experience, allowing participants a closer look at some of the original architectural features. Next, guests will enjoy a stroll around Palatine Hill, the oldest inhabited part of the city. Once home to luxurious homes, it is now an open-air museum offering breathtaking views of the city with ample photo opportunities. With earphones and a radio receiver provided, guests will enjoy every word of the guide’s commentary while they explore. The last stop on the itinerary is the legendary Roman Forum, the site of several ancient government buildings. The tour concludes at a central location so guests will be able to continue exploring on their own or return to their hotel easily.
