Guests will discover the city’s contemporary street art scene on this fun walk through the streets of Athens. In the morning, they will make their way to Thissio Train Station to meet their tour guide and begin the walk. They will discover that the city’s underground metro and surface rail system are also its biggest public art galleries. The guide will take guests around the city’s old train tracks, bridges, and street corners that double as canvases for street artists. From massive murals covering multi-storey buildings to hidden parking lots sprayed with graffiti, guests will spot urban art installations, political messages as well as beloved neighborhood pieces. Their local guide is an expert with insider’s knowledge of established and upcoming street artists and their works. The walk ends at a convenient central location for guests.
