Guests will enjoy a tasting session, sampling different local varieties of white and dessert wines with finger foods, on this afternoon tour. Guests will make their way to a local Cinque Terre winery at Enoteca in Monterosso for their tasting session. They will learn all about the region’s traditional wine-making heritage, including why this tiny region of Italy boasts such a distinctly different range of wines. Guests will sample three wine varieties, accompanied by delicious little crostini and flavored Cantucci packed with almonds. They will taste a glass each of traditional local white wine, a Cinque Terre DOC white, as well as a Sciacchetrà, which is a dessert wine special to the region. At the end of the hour-long tasting session, they will leave with insider knowledge and appreciation of the region’s local wines.
