Shared Tour: Van Gogh Museum guided Tours Morning
On this tour, guests will visit the Van Gogh Museum to discover its permanent collection of over 200 paintings, 500 drawings, and 800 letters of the renowned Dutch Post-Impressionist painter. Vincent van Gogh is a towering influence behind modern art, often considered to be one of the greatest Dutch painters of all time. In the morning, guests will meet their knowledgeable tour guide at the Cobra Cafe in Museumplein. With their skip-the-line entrance tickets, they will walk into the museum right away, without having to wait in a queue. Guests can admire Van Gogh’s many self-portraits, which he created to practice his skills, from up close. They will then go on to view his celebrated landscapes and flowers, such as “Sunflowers”, “Irises”, and his many “Wheatfield” canvases. The collection also includes Van Gogh’s early drawings, and his paintings from his years spent in the French capital of Paris. Participants will learn more about the master’s life and times from his letters and the works of his contemporaries.
