This Ultimate Munich Beer Tour and Bites provides the full Bavarian beer experience, the way the locals really experience them. This beer and bites tour will show guests what Munich nightlife is all about!

The sole thought of the city Munich generates a thirst for beer. Arguably the world’s most-beloved beer city, there is nowhere better to experience a beer tour than in the heart of beer culture, the city of Munich! Traditional Bavarian beer halls have ruled the roost since the time of Bavarian Beer Purity Laws and before, but Munich’s beer culture has, in fact, evolved since the 16th century!  

This beer adventure begins in the heart of Munich’s Marienplatz, where travelers are but a short walk to the first stop, where guests will sample one of Munich’s younger beers from the 19th century! Guests will take in the cozy ambience of a typical Bavarian Wirtshaus, as they savor a glass of Munich’s famous liquid gold while sharing a traditional starter platter.
From here, the local Munich beer guide begins the journey into the local Münchener beer trail, one that is a popular route for other visitors and groups to the city.

The tour will wind its way through the streets of the old city, embracing the night the way the locals do – by drinking a bottled-beer which was brewed regionally in Bavaria, and eating Germany’s favorite street food delicacy – the doener. No paper-bags are necessary – drinking in public is one of the city’s most celebrated rights! After taking a quick stop to gawk at the world-famous Hofbrauhaus and learn about its important history in the city, the tour moves onto a true Bavarian dessert, a glass of strong beer from a little monastery just outside of Munich. The expert guide will return guests to a destination near to the original meeting point, but the fun doesn’t have to end there! Experienced local guides are always more than happy to direct guests to where all the action is!

This tour is provided on a reserved basis prior to departure. Passengers must contact the local sightseeing company upon arrival to reconfirm their tour.
