Shared Tour: Toledo Half Day Afternoon Tour - 3PM
One of Europe’s oldest towns, Toledo is often known as the ‘City of the Three Cultures’. In the afternoon, guests will make their way to the meeting point where a coach awaits to take them to this ancient city. Enroute, their local guide will tell them about the fine examples of various architectural styles showcased in Toledo, thanks to Christians, Muslims, and Jews that lived there harmoniously over the centuries. Upon reaching, they will set off on a walking tour to take in views of the Cathedral of Toledo and other attractions, before exploring Church of Santo Tome. An excellent example of Mudéjar architecture, the church is home to El Greco’s famous painting, ‘The Burial of Count Orgaz’. The exploration continues with a visit to the ancient Synagogue of Santa Maria la Blanca, yet another fine example of Mudéjar architecture.
