Shared Tour: Papal Audience with Pope Francis in the Vatican City
Guests will begin this inspiring experience by meeting their knowledgeable guide at Piazza Risorgimento and receive helpful information to prepare them for the Papal audience. Led by their guide, they will walk toward either Saint Peter’s Square or Nervi Hall, depending on the Pontifical State’s discretion. Along the way, guests can soak in the historic surroundings as they approach one of the world’s most iconic religious sites. Once seated, they will join thousands of visitors from around the globe in witnessing this sacred ceremony. Whether they choose to pray or simply take it all in, the experience offers a rare chance to witness the deep sense of connection and respect among the crowd. The atmosphere is both peaceful and humbling, as Pope Francis leads the crowd in reflection and blessings. After this moving experience, the tour concludes at Saint Peter’s Square, leaving guests to continue their exploration of the Vatican or return to their accommodations.

Start time: The start time of the tour will be communicated upon confirmation of the booking.

Meeting point: Piazza Risorgimento. (You will find Carrani staff members with flags and/or wearing pink clothing, featuring a heart logo and the word “Rome”.)

Important information:
- This tour is only available on Wednesdays.
- Participants will walk approximately 0.6 miles from the drop-off point at Piazza dei Tribunali to Saint Peter's Basilica.
- Comfortable shoes are recommended for walking on uneven surfaces.
- All visitors must dress appropriately as the church prohibits shorts, low-cut clothing, and uncovered shoulders.
- Please note that seats in St Peter’s Square are not guaranteed.
- Due to high demand, this tour cannot be confirmed until closer to the date.
- Guests need to bring their passport to enter the Vatican as no other ID is accepted. The Vatican has the right to deny entrance to anyone who cannot verify their identify.
