This full-day tour introduces participants to the history and natural splendor of the Scottish Highlands. After departing Glasgow, guests will travel northwest along the banks of Loch Lomond and over the “Rest and Be Thankful” pass, so named in 1753 by the soldiers who had built the military road through Glen Croe. From there, the tour will continue through the Arrochar Alps to the scenic harbor town of Inverary on the shores of Loch Fyne. Guests will ride along the banks of Loch Awe and stop on the way for a short visit of Kilchurn Castle. The next stop is Oban, known as the Gateway to the Isles, for free time for lunch. Participants will take in sensational views of the Castle Stalker on their way to the steep-sloped Glencoe valley. The tour will pass through the heaths and peat bogs of Rannoch Moor and Glen Falloch toward Loch Lomond. The final stop before returning to Glasgow will be in the 18th-century village of Luss to explore the cottages built for workers of the nearby slate quarry.

This tour is provided on a reserved basis prior to departure. Passengers must contact the local sightseeing company upon arrival to reconfirm their tour.
