On this tour, guests go off the beaten track to discover Scotland’s rugged coastline by Moray Firth with its fishing villages, sea birds and marine life, along with a tour of the old town of Carrbridge. Early in the morning, guests will make their way to 19 Union Street, to meet their guide and board the tour coach. They will drive down to the legendary Findhorn Village, and walk along the stunning beach towards Portknockie. There, they will see dramatic rock formations, where the striking Bow Fiddle Rock, a sea arch, stands just offshore. Next, continue the village-hopping journey to the picturesque town of Cullen, famous for its iconic Cullen Skink soup. Enjoy some time to explore, and after lunch venture to Troup Head Nature Reserve. Keep your eyes peeled for puffins and seabirds during the invigorating walk, you might even catch a glimpse of marine life. Later, guests journey inland on the Malt Whisky Trail to learn all about single malt production at a Speyside whisky distillery. Finally they will set out for Carrbridge, home to the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands, before returning to Inverness.
