Guests begin their full-day tour of Minho with a convenient pickup at a central location in Porto. Thereafter, they will board a comfortable bus and head to Braga, one of Portugal's oldest cities. Here, they will explore the religious significance of the Cathedral and the majestic sanctuaries of Sameiro and Bom Jesus, which form the faith triangle. With insightful commentary from the expert guide, they will learn about the history and cultural importance of these revered sites. The baroque stairway of Bom Jesus also offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for reflection. After a delicious lunch, participants will journey to the historic center of Guimarães, a UNESCO World Heritage site. They will visit the iconic Guimarães Castle, often referred to as the birthplace of Portugal, and stroll through the well-preserved medieval streets.
