On this tour, guests will spend an exciting day searching for the elusive ‘monster’ on a Loch Ness boat cruise, enjoying a picnic lunch amid the majestic Highlands, and learning about Scotland’s rich history. Guests will make their way to 60 High Street, early in the morning, to board their tour bus. They will drive north from Edinburgh, crossing Stirling, and riding past its medieval castle and other historic monuments. Guests will reach the magnificent Scottish Highlands with its wild moors, glens and rolling hills, while listening to heroic tales of William Wallace and Rob Roy. They will stop at the Great Glen, and Glencoe, the site of a 17th century historic massacre. Guests will also drive past Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest peak. At Fort Augustus, guests will enjoy a boat cruise on the Loch Ness. If lucky, they might even spot Old Nessie! Later, they will have a scrumptious picnic by the Caledonian Canal, before returning to Edinburgh.
