Guests will spend the afternoon discovering the magnificent Chateau de Versailles that once served as the French royal residence. Traveling in a small group with a knowledgeable guide, guests can be sure of an intimate and personalized experience. From the centrally located meeting point in Paris, they will drive in a small vehicle to the magnificent city of Versailles, where the UNESCO-listed palace is located. This sprawling palace complex also includes the splendid 18th-century Royal Chapel. At the Royal Apartments, they will see the sumptuous decor of the rooms done up in marble and gold, each with a purpose. Guests will walk around the Hall of Mirrors, where the historic peace Treaty of Versailles was signed. There are numerous other rooms to be explored, such as The War Room, the Queen’s Grand Apartment, and the Hall of Battles. Guests can also stroll around the beautiful gardens surrounding the palace on their own. Depending on the day of the week, they may be able to view the musical fountain show or see the musical garden. Afterwards, they will head back to Paris.
