Shared Tour: Guided Visit to Alhambra and Generalife Tour** Non Refundable after confirmed** Complete Passport details needed to book**
On this culturally enriching tour, guests will explore the grand palace-fortress complex of Alhambra in Granada. Led by a professional guide who is also an expert interpreter of Granada’s rich heritage, guests will discover one of the best preserved examples of Islamic palaces and architecture around the world. A walk through the complex will reveal an intriguing blend of both Moorish Islamic and Spanish Renaissance architectural elements. These include carved stucco, mosaic tilework and various styles of Arabic epigraphy. The palace also contains many gardens and fountains with intricate latticework. Guests will then visit the Nasrid Palaces, a complex of palaces built and modified over time by Nasrid rulers, serving as their residence. Guests will also visit the Renaissance-style Palace of Charles V, built inside the Nasrid Palace complex. The tour will conclude with a visit to the Gardens and the Generalife Palace, a resting place built in the 13th and 14th centuries that was used by the Sultan as his country residence.
