Shared Tour: Giverny (Monet's House) Tour by Motorcoach AM
On this morning tour, guests will visit the home of famous Impressionist artist Claude Monet. Participants will set off early from Paris in a motorcoach and drive along the Normandy highway to the scenic country village of Giverny. It was in this hamlet set on the banks of the River Seine that the master chose to settle with his family. Guests will accompany their knowledgeable guide around the beautifully restored property featuring a pink crushed brick facade and tasteful decor. The tour will then continue through the colorful gardens designed by Monet, which served as artistic inspiration for many of his paintings. There, guests can also see the famous Water Garden dotted with lily ponds and surrounded by weeping willows that served as the setting for his famous ‘Water Lilies’. At the end of the guided tour, guests can explore the home and studio on their own before returning to Paris.
