On this day-long tour, guests will visit the famous Catalan cities of Girona and Figueres, the birthplace and final resting place of Spanish artist Salvador Dalí. In the morning, guests will make their way to the meeting point at Estació del Nord in Barcelona, and board their private coach. With the tour host on board, the bus will travel northward to Girona, known for its charming medieval architecture, cobblestone alleys in the old town, and Jewish quarters. Here, guests will enjoy a guided tour of the historic city center and its magnificent Cathedral with its Gothic nave and elaborate stonework. They also walk by the riverfront, lined with pastel-hued houses. Guests will have time to lunch on their own at a riverside bistro if they wish. Afterward, they will visit Figueras and explore the Teatre-Museu Dalí, which the master surrealist had designed himself. Everything about this art museum is worth taking in, right from its eccentric exterior to Dalí’s surreal installations, illusions and paintings. At the end of the tour, guests will return to Barcelona in the private coach.
