On this tour, guests will journey into the heart of the historic Gipuzkoa province. In the morning, they will make their way to the meeting point to meet their guide and board the private coach. They will then drive through the towns of Eibar, Elgoibar, and Azkoitia, enroute to the pilgrimage town of Loyola. Upon their arrival, participants will explore the Baroque style Basilica of Loyola and visit the medieval tower house. Next, they will travel through the town of Azpeitia and head north to the picturesque coastal town of Getaria. There, guests will visit the medieval Arch of Catrapona, the Church of San Salvador, and the town’s bustling fishing port. Later, traveling through the 19th-century resort town of Zarauz, they will stop at San Sebastian. A panoramic tour of the beautiful Basque city will follow, during which time guests will see the famed La Concha Beach and Mount Igeldo. They will also enjoy a stroll around the city’s Old Town area while their knowledgeable guide will narrate the history of this region. San Sebastian is famous for its cuicine, and before heading back to Bilbao, guests can enjoy lunch at their own expense at one of its numerous restaurants.
