On this exciting tour of the historic Scottish borders along Northumberland, England, guests will get a taste of classic legends, literature and movie lore – all in a single day. Early in the morning, guests will make their way to 60 High Street, to meet their guide and board their tour coach. They will drive down the emerald rolling hills of Scotland before reaching the charming seaside village of Bamburgh. There, they can visit the beach and the 5th century Bamburgh Castle by the North Sea. Later, they will drive up to Alnwick Castle, better known as the film location of Harry Potter’s alma mater, the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The castle was also a location for the hit TV series, Downton Abbey. Guests can take in the architecture, interiors, and gardens, while their guide shares historical facts and movie trivia. Guests will pass by historic battlefields on their way back to Edinburgh, listening to tales of William Wallace.
