On this guided walking tour, guests will enjoy an immersive experience of life in the ancient town of Mykonos, including glimpses into the Aegean island’s culinary and cultural history. Guests will be picked up from their hotel at the outskirts of town in a private vehicle, and transported to the starting point of the tour. Accompanied by their local guide, guests will enjoy strolling down the Greek town’s gloriously whitewashed maze of dwellings. As they pass by the island’s distinctive cubical homes, they will learn the history behind the unusual architectural style. As they amble along the narrow streets, guests will spot the iconic windmills perched atop a hill above the town. They will visit neighborhoods like “little Venice”, and learn about traditional life in Mykonos. They will also stop at a local café, a family-run eatery, and a popular bakery, sampling local delicacies and discovering their culinary heritage. Later, guests will be transported back to their hotel.
