Private Full Day Versailles and Giverny Tour
The tour will begin in Giverny, at a local church painted by Monet, followed by a visit to his gravesite. Guests will move on to explore the former Café Baudy, a residence for American Impressionists like Whistler, Cassatt, and friends of Monet, including Renoir and Cézanne. They can view the barn that served as a winter studio for these artists. Next, guests will enter Monet’s famous Water Garden and proceed to the Flower Garden, where vibrant flowerbeds are arranged by color. The visit will continue through Monet’s house, ending at his last studio, now a gift shop. On the way to Versailles, they’ll travel along Route des Crêtes, with stunning views of the Seine Valley, and a brief stop in Vetheuil. In Versailles, the guide will recommend a French bistro for lunch. After which, travelers will tour the palace, including the Hall of Mirrors and Queen’s Grand Apartment, then take a short garden tour before returning to Paris.
