Private Versailles Afternoon Tour with Licensed English-Speaking Driver-Guide
On this private tour, guests can enjoy an in-depth exploration of the magnificent Chateau de Versailles that once served as the French royal residence. Setting off in the afternoon, they will drive to the city of Versailles where the UNESCO-listed palace is located. This sprawling palace complex also includes the splendid 18th-century Royal Chapel. At the King’s Grand Apartment, they will see the seven rooms done up in lavish Italian style, each with their own purpose. They will walk around the Hall of Mirrors where the historic peace Treaty of Versailles was signed before passing through the War Room and the ornately done-up Queen’s Grand Apartment. Numerous other noteworthy rooms will also be explored, such as the Hall of French History and the Hall of Battles. Guests will then accompany their guide on a short stroll around the beautiful gardens. This is the ideal opportunity for a drive through the park to see the Estate of Trianon, the private retreat of the regent. Afterwards, guests will head back to Paris.
