Guests will explore Oxford's rich history and iconic landmarks on this engaging walking tour. The journey begins at Carfax Tower, where they will admire the 12th-century bell tower and hear about its role in the city’s history. Accompanied by an expert guide, they will explore the Saxon Tower of St. Michael, one of Oxford’s oldest structures. Throughout the tour, the guide will tell them about Oxford’s history, from Martyr’s Memorial which honors Protestant martyrs from Queen Mary’s reign to the prestigious Ashmolean Museum, home to ancient Egyptian exhibitions. Passing Balliol and Trinity Colleges, guests will learn more about Oxford’s academic heritage. The guide will then lead them to the Sheldonian Theatre, designed by Christopher Wren, and under the iconic Bridge of Sighs. Continuing through the stunning Bodleian Library, guests will enjoy views of the Radcliffe Camera, All Souls College, and the majestic Magdalen College. The tour ends at the bustling Covered Market, a great spot for lunch or souvenir shopping.
