Guests embark on a delightful half-day private tour of the Venetian Islands, beginning with a convenient hotel pickup. From the harbor, the private boat sails past the scenic island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the lush Public Gardens, and the iconic Lido beach resort, known for hosting Venice’s famous Film Festival. The first stop is Murano, celebrated for its centuries-old glassmaking traditions. Guests have 40 minutes to explore a local factory and witness the magic of glassblowing. Next, the tour heads to the charming island of Burano, where participants can stroll among vibrant fishermen’s houses, each painted in bright hues, and admire the intricate lacework for which the island is renowned. Finally, they arrive at the historic island of Torcello, once the heart of Venetian civilization. Here, guests explore the cathedral with its stunning mosaics and the quaint church of Santa Fosca during a 30-minute visit. The tour ends with a return drop-off at the hotel or St. Mark’s Square, leaving guests with lasting memories.
