Private Tour: Full Day Excursion to Toledo with visit to a Premium Winery
On this tour, guests will explore the history, culture, and cuisine of Toledo, declared a National Monument of Spain in 1921, as well as one of its finest wineries for a tasting session. After breakfast, they will be picked up from their Madrid hotel in a chauffeured vehicle. Their tour will begin at Mirador del Valle with its panoramic views of Toledo. Guests will then enjoy a walking tour of the old city known for its confluence of Jewish, Moorish, and Christian cultures in medieval times. They will see the Roman Catholic Toledo Cathedral with its magnificent architecture and Mudéjar details, the Plaza de Zocodover, and the Church of Santo Tomé, which houses the famous painter El Greco’s masterpiece. This will be followed by a tour of the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, a former Jewish synagogue. After a leisurely lunch at a popular local eatery, guests will visit a premium winery in the outskirts to sample their exquisite produce.
