On this private tour, guests will dive into the scenic heart of Portugal’s Douro Valley and experience firsthand its terraced vineyards and historic Port wine production. After a morning pickup from their hotel in Porto, participants will ride in a sturdy 4×4 vehicle through Porto’s medieval streets. En route they will stop at specific points to capture panoramic views of the Douro River winding through the city’s iconic architecture. Upon arrival in the Douro Valley, a charming picnic lunch will be awaiting guests, featuring traditional fish, meats, and fresh local wines. Next, they will explore the terraced vineyards that have produced world-renowned wines since the 17th century.
