Private Tour: Discover Dublin on Foot
On this tour, guests will discover the iconic sites of Dublin and its warm and welcoming spirit. Participants will begin their exploration at the Spire of Dublin, a stainless-steel monument on O’Connell Street, before crossing the River Liffey to the south side of the city. At Trinity College, founded in 1592, guests will enjoy a self-guided visit to the Old Library and the famous Book of Kells, a 9th-century manuscript. The Long Room, filled with ancient oak bookcases, adds an element of grandeur to the tour. The guide will share insights on Dublin’s rich history as participants walk through Temple Bar, an area known for its lively pubs and cobbled streets. Outside Dublin Castle, they’ll learn about the 13th-century origins and role of the castle in Irish governance. Continuing down Grafton Street, guests will explore a pedestrian-friendly shopping area known for its street performers. The tour ends at St. Stephen’s Green, a tranquil Georgian park featuring open lawns, sculptures, and a central lake, offering a tranquil conclusion to the tour.
