This private guided city tour by car includes all the important sights of Berlin, offering guests the opportunity to explore the highlights of the city. Guests will see all the key landmarks, from the Brandenburg Gate to Checkpoint Charlie to Museum Island (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the remains of the Berlin Wall. They’ll stroll through the landmark of Berlin and German unity, the Brandenburg Gate, and marvel at the newly built City Palace and the Museum Island, one of Europe’s most important museum complexes. Their expert guide will vividly and sensitively illuminate Hitler’s seizure of power and Berlin’s darkest chapter during WWII at the original sites. Along the way, guests will hear entertaining anecdotes and surprising facts, such as spectacular escape attempts from East Germany at Checkpoint Charlie, where they can also see the nearby remains of the Berlin Wall.
The tour includes pick up and drop off at the guests’ hotel or any other spot. It features a guided city tour by car, including photo stops and bits of walking tailored to their pace and liking. The rate includes a private vehicle (Mercedes Vito) and driver, insurance, VAT, and a private guide. The tour is designed for a maximum of 7 guests. Please note: In rare cases, certain sites might be inaccessible on the day of touring (for example, due to construction work, roadblocks, state visits, demonstrations, etc.), and the route will be adjusted accordingly.
