On this private afternoon tour, guests will skip the lines and explore Madrid's Royal Palace, the residence of the Spanish monarchy from 1766 to 1931. Accompanied by an expert guide, guests will discover the palace’s rich history, spanning centuries of Spanish heritage. Guests will walk through some of the royal quarters overlooking the beautiful gardens, while they admire the grand Italian baroque style of interiors. The Royal Palace features over 3,000 rooms—twice the size of Buckingham Palace. As guests follow their guide, they will explore the Grand Staircase, the lavish Throne Room, and the Banqueting Hall, each adorned with elegant furniture and intricate tapestries. Participants will also visit the Royal Armoury, where weapons and armor from Spanish monarchs, dating back to the 13th century, are displayed. Throughout the tour, their guide will share fascinating insights into the palace’s architecture, royal history, and significant events. After the guided portion, guests can continue to explore the palace’s magnificent surroundings at their own pace.
