Private Siena and San Gimignano with Lunch and Tasting
Guests will spend the day touring the medieval towns of Siena and San Gimignano in the Tuscan countryside. After breakfast, they will be picked up from their hotel in a chauffeured vehicle. They will drive south from Florence to reach Siena. Accompanied by their local guide, guests will explore the historic city center, a UNESCO World Heritage site. They will see Siena’s central piazza, Gothic town hall, and medieval tower. They will also see the town’s Gothic cathedral, before visiting a local farmhouse. There, they will enjoy samplings of local wines like Chianti, along with a luncheon of Tuscan appetizers and pasta with traditional sauces. This will be followed by a visit to San Gimignano, another town with a medieval heritage and more than a dozen old towers. Guests will see the central piazza surrounded by houses with medieval architecture, Romanesque cathedral and churches with medieval frescos. Later, guests will drive back to Florence. < br />
