Private Original Florence Walk and David Tour with Skip the Line Entrance to Accademia 2:30PM
On this tour, guests will spend an afternoon discovering Florence, with its UNESCO World Heritage city center, exploring the Accademia Museum, and other historic landmarks. In the afternoon, guests will reach the corner of Pizza Della Repubblica and Via Roma, to meet their tour guide. They will stroll down the historic city center, to the Piazza Signoria, and the Palazzo Vecchio, a medieval palace complex, among other popular sites. Guests will skip the lines to visit the Accademia Museum, or the Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze, home to Michelangelo’s famous sculpture of David. It also displays works of other Renaissance masters like Sandro Botticelli, Filippino Lippi, and Pontormo, among others. They will also walk to the Piazza and Basilica of Santa Croce, noting the frescoes of Giotto, and the tombs of towering figures like Galileo and Michelangelo inside the church. Last but not least, they will view the Duomo Complex with its majestic cathedral and terracotta-tiled dome and bell tower.
