On this walking tour you will discover why Florence became one of the greatest art centers the world has ever seen while your guide shares stories and legends about the city’s history. You will learn who was buried alive near the Duomo and why Michelangelo never forgave Leonardo da Vinci. You will see famous sculptures, frescoes & paintings in Santa Trinita and Orsanmichele. From the outside, you will also see the Duomo, Baptistery, Bell Tower, Gates of Paradise, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Vasari’s Corridor, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Medieval towers, Ponte Vecchio, Renaissance Palaces, famous shopping streets & other sights.
