Guests will spend the morning exploring the beautiful Italian coastal town of Amalfi by the Tyrrhenian Sea. After a leisurely breakfast, guests will be picked up from their hotel by their English-speaking guide and chauffeur, and driven to Amalfi. They will travel along the winding cliffside road leading from Positano to Amalfi, taking in dramatic views of the Gulf of Salerno and the turquoise Mediterranean Sea on their right. Arriving at the old town, guests will visit the medieval town square with the imposing Sant Andrea Cathedral, or Amalfi Cathedral, known for its unusual Islamic and Norse influences. Afterwards, making their way across the picturesque town, guests will also visit the Convent of Cappuccini, and the Campanile with their guide. If they wish, they can enjoy a delicious coastal lunch in a traditional taverna, sampling local delicacies such as fresh mussels and seafood risotto. Later, they will be driven back to Positano.
