On this guided walk, guests will discover the cultural heritage of the global city of Milan. At a pre-appointed time, they will reach the Piazza Duomo to meet their private guide and begin the tour. Guests will visit iconic architectural landmarks like the medieval fort of Sforza Castle and the magnificent Duomo Cathedral of Milan. They will stroll through the expansive grounds of the Sforza Castle, and see the works of Renaissance masters like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo displayed within its museum. While admiring the majestic Gothic façade of the Duomo, guests will learn that its construction began in the 1300s and took over six centuries to complete. They will also visit the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II to view the impressive 19th-century architecture and designer stores of iconic fashion brands like Prada, Gucci and Chanel. Guests can enjoy an espresso break at a trendy cafe if they wish. Later, they will visit La Scala Theatre, Milan’s historic opera house.
