On this guided tour, guests will visit the prominent highlights of Madrid’s historic center. They will meet their guide and begin the tour at the Plaza de la Villa, surrounded by some of the city’s oldest buildings. They will visit the bustling Puerta del Sol and the beautifully landscaped Plaza de Oriente. Next, guests will drive past highlights such as the granite and stone gate of Puerta de Toledo, the Royal Palace, and the impressive Almudena Cathedral. Mayor Street, Las Cortes, and Paseo del Prado are along the route. The exploration continues at Las Letras Quarter, or Literary Quarter, with its period architecture. Guests will then see the Neoclassical gate of Puerta de Alcala and Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, the home stadium of FC Real Madrid. Afterwards, guests will return to the 18th-century Royal Palace which serves as the venue for formal state ceremonies. Skipping the long queues, participants can immediately immerse themselves in tour of this magnificent palace, its 3,000 opulent rooms, and gardens. The tour ends back at guests’ hotel or a central location.
