On this 2-day tour, guests will visit five magnificent chateaus in the idyllic Loire Valley with a private driver guide. On the first day, they will explore the impressive Chambord and Chateau de Blois, two of the Loire Valley’s finest chateaus. Accompanied by their expert guide, they will discover the histories behind these fine examples of French Renaissance architecture surrounded by beautiful gardens. In the afternoon, they will continue their exploration at the idyllic medieval town of Amboise before turning in for the night. The first half of the second day is devoted to two more privately guided tours of splendid chateaus in the region. The cliffside Chateau d’Amboise overlooking the Loire River, was once a preferred royal residence. Adjacent to it lies the Chateau du Clos Luce, where the multi-faceted artist Leonardo da Vinci lived and worked during the final years of his life. Afterwards, guests will also visit the 16th-century Chateau de Chenonceau set along the river Cher. At the end of the tour, they will be dropped off at their hotel or at a central location.
