Guests will embark on a private tour to the historic Marathon Tomb, a key site of Ancient Greece, where they will delve into the story of the famous Battle of Marathon. They will be conveniently picked up from their hotel and driven through scenic landscapes to Marathon, where they will explore the Pile Tomb from 490 BC, standing 10 meters high, where 192 fallen Athenian soldiers are honored. Led by a personal guide, guests will hear stories about the battle, the bravery of the Athenians, and about the origins of the Marathon race. After visiting the tomb, guests will also see the start of the iconic Marathon race, where the first runner famously carried the news of victory from Marathon to Athens. After this immersive experience, guests will return to their hotel in their private vehicle, reflecting on the rich history and significance of the site.
