This exclusive half-day Athens tour will begin at the hotel where a personal guide and driver will meet guests. Setting out in a comfortable, airconditioned vehicle, they will head to the remarkable Panathenaic Stadium, built entirely of marble for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. After a photo stop, the tour moves to the Temple of Zeus, where guests will take in the impressive columns and learn about the temple’s history as a dedication to the king of the Olympian gods. As they continue through the city, they’ll pass the Greek Parliament, catching a glimpse of the Evzones guards in their traditional attire.
