This tour begins at the stunning Panathenian Stadium, built for the 1896 Olympic Games on the site of the ancient Athenian stadium. After a brief photo stop, travelers will visit the Temple of Zeus, and then view the National Gardens and Greek Parliament, where traditionally dressed Evzones stand guard. Next, it’s on to the Acropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring iconic structures like the Parthenon. After exploring the Acropolis, they will walk downhill to the Acropolis Museum, showcasing ancient artifacts in a modern setting. Guests will then enjoy free time for lunch in the picturesque Vouliagmeni area. Afterward, they will embark on a scenic drive along the Attica Riviera to Cape Sounio, where they will visit the ancient Temple of Poseidon as their guide shares legends and insights about the site’s history. Following some free time at Cape Sounio, travelers will return to Athens, enriched by a day that will leave lasting memories of this timeless region.
