Guests will experience an unforgettable day driving through the lush fields and villages of Kent in a private vehicle. Led by a knowledgeable guide, the first stop will be at the medieval Canterbury Cathedral where they will admire the Gothic architecture and stained-glass features. The next stop will be at the Leeds Castle, an impressive structure built on two islands within a lake. The castle's most famous owner was King Henry VIII, who transformed it for his first wife, Catherine of Aragon. This is why it is known as the Lady’s Castle – thanks to the many queens of England who lived there. A stunning painting of the ‘Field of the Cloth of Gold’ also hangs inside the castle, which guests will view. The tour will conclude with a visit to the White Cliffs of Dover, a coastal site that offers spectacular views of the English Channel. This symbol of Britain served as the backdrop to countless historic events including the Roman invasion and both World Wars.
