Private Braveheart Tour
To begin your tour, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby and head north to Stirling, where William Wallace’s most famous triumph took place. Here you’ll have the chance to visit the Church of the Holy Rude, Stirling Castle, the site of of the Battle of Stirling Bridge and the Wallace Monument. If you prefer, you can stop for lunch at The Birds and Bees Restaurant, which serves award-winning food only minutes from the monument. From here, you can continue your historical tour to Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. Alternatively, you can take a tour of Deanston Distillery, an 18th century cotton mill turned whisky distillery where you can try their famous 12 year old Highland Single Malt.
