Pizza and Gelato Making Cooking Class- Evening 6:30PM
Learn to make Pizza and Gelato just like the Italians do! Make pizza in oven with our professional pizza chef, called pizzaiolo. You will learn how to make tender, flexible yeast dough that stretches to almost paper-thinness, and even the trick for a flavorful yet light tomato sauce. Even if you bake pizza in your own oven, these techniques are universal and using them really makes a difference.
While the dough rests learn another, unique, trick of the trade: making gelato! Hear all about the history of Italian ice-cream, discover the raw ingredients and learn where the best is produced from your entertaining chef. With a chef demonstration, see how to mix the ingredients and wet your appetite watching the chocolate melt into the cream.
A booklet with recipes will let you cook for your friends once you get back home. This activity is strongly recommended for families that wish to have children learn about the Italian culture, an easy and fun experience that will last forever in their memory.
