Food Tour and Pizza Making Cooking Class
Prepare for a culinary adventure in Palermo, where Sicilian flavors take center stage! The experience begins at a welcoming and newly opened cooking school, where guests learn the art of crafting pizza dough from scratch under the guidance of a skilled chef. An experienced and talented chef will guide guests step-by-step in the dough making process and once guests have their dough ready to rest and rise, it will be time to go out and discover the Sicilian sights and delights. From here, guests venture into the vibrant and historic Capo Market on a guided tour. This renowned market, with a bustling atmosphere and colorful array of goods, has a rich heritage dating back through generations. While exploring, guests will encounter stalls brimming with fresh produce, local crafts, and an authentic ambiance that captures Palermo’s essence. Along the way, guests get to try authentic Sicilian goodies while the producers themselves spill the beans on how these delicacies are made. It’s a firsthand taste and behind-the-scenes experience all rolled into one! After the market tour, guests return to the cooking school. Guests will flatten their dough, add toppings, and complete their pizza masterpiece. Then, students get to revel in a delightful lunch featuring the pizza they’ve crafted.
