Enjoy a full day, guided hiking trip on Mount Etna, including a delicious lunch. You’ll trek on one of Europe’s most active volcanoes and watch the landscape change as you ascend. At your arrival at the slopes of Mount Etna, you will meet your guide who will take you to the trekking path on the volcano. Start climbing towards the top while viewing seven of the so-called lateral craters which were formed during the 1865 eruption, creating an amazing “buttons shapes” effect. Along the hiking route and if weather is clear, you will be blessed with incredible panoramas, from Calabria to Taormina: sometimes it is even possible to see Stromboli Island on a sunny clear day! For lunch you will dine on Mount Etna and enjoy an array of traditional Sicilian fare! The lunch will include three courses and beverages, the perfect way to reward yourself for your hiking efforts! There will also be the chance to spend about one hour of free in the area before the tour departs back to town.

Additional Information:
Required: hiking shoes or good walking/sport shoes (no flip-flops!). Strongly suggested hat and sunscreen. The actual itinerary on the Mount Etna may slightly vary depending on weather and trail conditions in order to guarantee guests' safety while preserving the tour quality.
