On this remarkable tour, guests will relive the WWII through the eyes of the British government, led by Sir Winston Churchill, down in the underground War Rooms used by the Allied forces. In the morning, guests will make their way to the Churchill War Rooms on King Charles Street, which is a part of the Imperial War Museums. They will explore the secret Cabinet War Rooms beneath the Treasury building in Westminster. According to history, construction of this underground network used by Churchill and his staff, was finished a week before Britain declared war on Germany in September 1939. Guests will also visit the Map Room, and Transatlantic Telephone Room that were used for planning Allied victory, and for Churchill to communicate with the American President. They can also explore the life and times of the “British Bulldog” at his namesake Churchill Museum, which displays his personal items, such as his paintings, and his iconic cigars.

Churchill War Rooms are wheelchair accessible but please note that the narrowest corridor is 68cm wide, and the tightest corner is at a 90 degrees turn.
